在 CodeIgniter 的 index.php 中有這樣一段程式

這裡可以看到 ENVIRONMENT 的值是由 $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] 決定的
要設定 $_SERVER['CI_ENV'] 的話，在 Apache 底下是用
SetEnv {VAR_NAME}  {VAR_VALUE}
